CAFADS works with families and children aged 5 upwards around drugs and Alcohol misuse.
About us:
Working with individuals who have been affected by someone in the family who has a substance misuse problem, as well as families to provide them with support around substance misuse.
The service has disability access
Unsuitablity: We do not work with individuals who have no family attachment for example biological children/stepchildren and who are not affected by substance misuse.
We work with children and families providing appropriate therapeutic interventions.
We provide 1-2-1 counselling, family therapy, education, and consultation.
We use brief intervention, systemic models of intervention, cognitive behaviour therapy, coping mechanism skills, relapse prevention to work with our clients. We provide alcohol and drugs training to different organisation, schools and colleges.
We are open from 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
